The Drakkensberg project, an ecosystem involving several players and a wide range of expertise, is dedicated to fighting lethargy in the field of digital start-ups. Drakkensberg addresses and solves the problems surrounding digital start-ups in a sustainable way and proves that the vision of a digital and therefore fast start-up process can become a reality. Diego Benz and Philippe Kaiser, founding members of the Drakkensberg project, joined other players in the ecosystem to present how the entire process works step by step: Starting with the automated and efficient creation of the founding documents, through the notarization of the same by a notary present, to the transmission of all documents via federal platforms (UPReg, Sedex, Privasphere) and the integration of the transmitted data in structured form into the IT environment of the commercial register office. By accompanying the entire incorporation process, a comprehensive picture of the current situation was drawn and at the same time the obstacles that still need to be overcome before a company can be fully incorporated digitally were highlighted.
