Shares of shareholders who have not requested their registration with the court five years after the entry into force of Art. 622 para. 1bis CO (i.e. from 31.10.2024) become NECESSARY by operation of law (Art. 8 para. 1 CO). The shareholders lose their rights associated with the shares. The void shares will be replaced by the company’s own shares.
