This new format was challenging, but it opened up many new opportunities. The topic could hardly have been more topical. The two speakers shed light on corporate notarial transactions in the digital age &#8211; electronic notarization, digital currencies, virtual meetings and blockchain technology. As a result of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.admin.ch\/opc\/de\/classified-compilation\/20200744\/index.html\">Ordinance 2 on measures to combat the coronavirus<\/a>, the virtual general meeting, which was previously only provided for in the draft of the partial revision of the Code of Obligations, immediately became a reality. This also poses new challenges for notaries when it comes to general meeting resolutions requiring notarization.
