In<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bger.ch\/ext\/eurospider\/live\/de\/php\/aza\/http\/index.php?highlight_docid=aza:\/\/aza:\/\/26-11-2020-2C_372-2020&amp;lang=de&amp;zoom=&amp;type=show_document\"> BGer 2C_372\/2020 of November 26, 2020,<\/a> the Federal Supreme Court ruled that an employed lawyer is personally obliged to meet the requirements of institutional independence pursuant to Art. 8 para. 1 lit. d BGFA. However, a limited liability company is not subject to Art. 8 BGFA. This also applies to companies in which one person is the sole shareholder, board member and lawyer registered in a cantonal register of lawyers.
