Prof. Dr. Lukas Müller and Philippe Kaiser gave a digital presentation at the University of St. Gallen on the digitalization progress in the field of corporate and notarial law. The revision of the Code of Obligations brings numerous innovations, which in particular enables the virtualization of meetings but also incorporates new technologies such as distributed ledgers, thus paving the way for the tokenization of shares.

Also the practical experience with electronic meetings and votings according to the Ordinance 3 on Measures to Combat the Corona Virus could be shown to the students with concrete examples and which influences this had and will have in the future on the notaries and their certifications.

Many thanks to Prof. Dr. Florian Möslein for the invitation to present at the Law and Econimics course at the University of St. Gallen.
